The Real Estate, Lending and Transaction Group focuses on structuring and closing commercial lending transactions. We provide exemplary closing services as lender’s counsel to owners, developers, builders and financial institutions. Our services include negotiation and documentation of forbearance, modification, workout, real property foreclosure, and confirmation actions, as well as borrower representation in all state and federal courts in Georgia. In addition, we represent clients in receiverships and other equitable remedies frequently brought by lenders. The group also has extensive experience in preparing and reviewing commercial leases as well as a variety of corporate and partnership transaction matters, including corporate formations and the negotiation and drafting of stock sale purchase transactions.

In addition to the above matters, the Real Estate, Lending and Transaction Group also has extensive experience in a wide variety of secured or asset based lending, consumer credit compliance matters, bank and regulatory matters and specialized lending transactions involving transportation and rolling stock.

Our Real Estate, Lending and Transaction Group works in conjunction with, and provides valuable support to, our Litigation and Bankruptcy Groups in order to meet the needs of our individual clients, including real estate litigation, bankruptcy issues and post-divorce asset transfers.
