Real Estate: The real estate group focuses on structuring and closing commercial lending transactions. We provide exemplary closing services as lender’s counsel to owners, developers, builders, and financial institutions. Our services include negotiation and documentation of forbearance, modification, workout, real property foreclosure, and confirmation actions, as well as borrower representation in all state and federal courts in Georgia. In addition, we represent clients in receiverships and other equitable remedies frequently brought by lenders. The real estate group also has extensive experience in preparing and reviewing commercial leases as well as a variety of corporate and partnership transaction matters, including the negotiation and drafting of stock sale purchase transactions. Our real estate group, in addition to providing closing services for commercial lending transactions, works in conjunction with and provides valuable support to our litigation, bankruptcy, and family law groups to meet the needs of our individual clients, including real estate litigation, bankruptcy issues, and post-divorce asset transfers.
